Questions That Nobody Asks

๐Ÿ”ŽCase Brief #5

You notice something in your daily life that relates to finding overlooked questions.

๐ŸŽฏ Your mission

Gather the evidence.

โšก The twist

If you had one more question, what would it be?

What You'll Learn

๐Ÿ’ช The most important questions are often the ones nobody thinks to ask. 'Why do we do homework at home?' 'Why are school buses yellow?' Questioning the obvious leads to breakthroughs. To use this skill, follow these steps: First, understand the problem. Read it again if you need to. What is it really asking? Next, think about what you know. Have you seen something like this before? What worked last time? Then, come up with ideas. Try to think of at least TWO possible answers before picking one. The first idea isn't always the best! Finally, check your work. Does your answer make sense? Can you explain WHY you chose it? If you can explain your thinking, you really understand it. Remember: smart thinkers aren't people who never make mistakes โ€” they're people who LEARN from mistakes!
