Point of view refers to the perspective from which a story is told. It helps readers understand who is telling the story and how they see the events. There are three main points of view: first person, second person, and third person. For example, in first person, the narrator uses words like 'I' and 'my,' sharing their own thoughts and feelings. In third person, the story is told from an outside perspective, using 'he,' 'she,' or 'they.' If a character in a story thinks, 'I was scared,' thatโ€™s first person. But if the narrator says, 'She was scared,' thatโ€™s third person. Understanding point of view helps readers connect with characters and their experiences.
