Magnetism is a force that can attract or repel certain materials, like iron and nickel. Magnets have two poles: north and south. When you bring two magnets close together, the north pole of one magnet can attract the south pole of another, pulling them together. However, if you try to bring two north poles or two south poles together, they will push away from each other. A common example of magnetism is a refrigerator magnet, which sticks to the fridge because it is made of magnetic material. This force is invisible, but you can feel it when you try to move magnets close to each other!
