Dialogue writing is when you write down what characters say to each other. It helps bring stories to life! To show dialogue, you use quotation marks around the spoken words. For example, if Sarah says, โ€˜I love ice cream!โ€™ you would write it like this: Sarah said, โ€˜I love ice cream!โ€™ This shows the reader exactly what Sarah is expressing. Remember to start a new line for each speaker, so itโ€™s clear who is talking. For instance, if Tom replies, โ€˜Me too!โ€™ you would write it on a new line. This way, dialogue makes your writing more exciting and helps readers understand the characters better.
