Line graphs are visual tools used to show how something changes over time. They have two axes: the horizontal axis (X-axis) usually represents time, while the vertical axis (Y-axis) shows the value of what is being measured. For example, if you were tracking the temperature in your town over a week, the days of the week would go along the X-axis, and the temperatures would go up the Y-axis. Each point on the graph connects to form a line, making it easy to see trends, like whether the temperature is rising or falling. Line graphs help us quickly understand data and compare changes over time.
