The respiratory system brings oxygen into the body and removes carbon dioxide. When you breathe in, air enters the lungs where oxygen passes into the blood.

Steps

Study the diagram and label the parts you recognize.

Step 2 โ€” Do

Map your taste zones: dip cotton swabs in salty, sweet, sour, and bitter solutions. Touch different areas of your tongue and record where each taste is strongest.

Step 3 โ€” Observe

Use your senses (except taste) to describe what you notice.

Step 4 โ€” Record

Write a summary of your findings in 3-5 sentences.
