Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration that honors African-American culture and community. It starts on December 26 and ends on January 1. During Kwanzaa, families come together to light candles on a special candle holder called a kinara, share stories, and enjoy traditional food. Each day, they focus on a different principle, like unity and creativity, to celebrate their heritage.
