There are many types of government around the world, each with its own way of ruling. Some countries have democracies, where people vote to make decisions. Others have monarchies, where a king or queen leads. There are also authoritarian governments, where one person or group has all the power. Understanding different types of government helps us appreciate our own and recognize how people live in other countries.
