Congress is the legislative branch of the United States government, made up of two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Senate has 100 members, with each state represented by two senators. On the other hand, the House of Representatives has 435 members, with the number from each state based on its population. Together, these two chambers work to create and pass laws that affect our daily lives, ensuring that both small and large states have a voice in the government.
