🚀 Number Galaxy — a free maths game for kids

The ship never stops. Three portals, one sequence — fly into the number that comes next.

Sequences are the friendliest doorway into algebra: spot the rule, apply the rule, predict the next term. Number Galaxy runs that loop every few seconds, moving from counting by twos up through multiples, primes, decimals and negative numbers.

How to play

  1. 1Your ship flies forward automatically down a star lane.
  2. 2A sequence runs along the top of the screen — 12, 15, 18, 21, ?
  3. 3Three portals approach with three different numbers. Steer into the one that comes next.
  4. 4Correct portals build speed; a wrong one drops you into an asteroid field you can fly back out of.

Frequently asked questions

What sequences appear?
Skip counting first, then multiples, doubling, primes, decimal steps and negative numbers as the grade band rises.
Is it too fast?
The ship's speed is tied to the grade band, and a wrong portal costs speed rather than ending the run — there is no crash-and-restart.
Can it be played with a keyboard?
Yes, the left and right arrow keys steer, and taps work on touch devices.
Is Number Galaxy free?
Yes. Free, no signup, no ads.
