Paper Collage Landscape (Part 14)

Practice layering in this art lesson: paper collage landscape (part 14).

🎨 Studio Brief #66

Build a landscape entirely from torn and cut paper.

🎯 Your mission

Use one boring material in an unboring way.

⚡ The twist

Only use materials that were about to be trash.

Step 1 of 4

Choose papers in blues, greens, browns, and white. Tear (don't cut) paper for a natural, soft edge.

Step 2 of 4

Start with the sky: glue blue paper across the top of your background paper.

Step 3 of 4

Layer distant mountains or hills using lighter, cooler colors. Overlap closer elements using darker, warmer colors.

Step 4 of 4

Add details: trees from green paper, a sun from yellow, a path from brown. Overlap elements for depth.
