You will need

Round brushes (sizes 4-8)Watercolor paper

Step 1 of 4

Use a ruler to draw a grid of black lines on white paper. Vary the sizes of the rectangles.

Step 2 of 4

Choose a few rectangles to fill with red, yellow, or blue. Leave most of them white.

Step 3 of 4

Paint the black lines with a flat brush and black paint. Make them thick and even.

Step 4 of 4

Evaluate the balance: does one side feel heavier? Adjust by adding or removing color.

Did you know?

🤯 Mind = Blown

🤯 Mixing red, yellow, and blue paint together makes mud — but mixing red, green, and blue light makes white.
