🎨 Studio Brief #62

Bend wire into a human figure in motion.

🎯 Your mission

Squish, pinch, build. Trust your hands.

⚡ The twist

If it cracks, work the crack into the design.

What you'll learn

Step 1 of 3

Cut a piece of wire about 24 inches long. Fold it in half—the loop at the top will be the head.

Step 2 of 3

Twist the two ends together below the head for about 2 inches to form the torso.

Step 3 of 3

Separate the two wire ends to create legs. Bend them to show a walking or dancing pose.

🌍 Where you see this: Pots, cups, sinks, statues — anything you can hold started as squishy stuff.

🏆 Try this week: Sculpt with playdough or even mashed potato. The tool doesn't matter.
