Wire Figure Sculpture (Part 2)

Practice wire bending in this art lesson: wire figure sculpture (part 2).

🎨 Studio Brief #12

Bend wire into a human figure in motion.

🎯 Your mission

If it cracks, that's part of the story.

⚡ The twist

No tools — just your hands.

What you'll learn

Step 1 of 3

Cut a piece of wire about 24 inches long. Fold it in half—the loop at the top will be the head.

Step 2 of 3

Twist the two ends together below the head for about 2 inches to form the torso.

Step 3 of 3

Separate the two wire ends to create legs. Bend them to show a walking or dancing pose.
