Choose an everyday object: a soda can, a shoe, a hamburger, or a famous face.

Draw the object simply, with bold outlines. Divide your paper into a 2x2 grid.

Reproduce the same image in each square but use a completely different color scheme each time.

Outline everything in black. Use the brightest, most unexpected colors you can mix.
