Linoleum Block Printing (Part 14)

Draw your design on paper, then transfer it to the linoleum block in reverse (or accept the mirror image).

Use linoleum carving tools (with supervision) to carve away the areas you want to remain white.

Roll ink onto the uncarved (raised) surface with a brayer.

Press paper onto the block and rub the back evenly. Pull the print and evaluate.

Clean the block and print an edition of 5-10 copies. Number and sign each one.
