Pixel Art Characters (Part 27)

Use graph paper or a pixel art app. Plan your character in a 16x16 or 32x32 grid.

Start with the silhouette: fill in the outline of your character one pixel at a time.

Add base colors, then shading using slightly darker versions of each color.

Add details: eyes, accessories, texture. Every pixel counts at this small scale.
