Building Pictures From Shapes

Practice shape recognition in this art lesson: building pictures from shapes.

🎨 Studio Brief #1

Every object can be broken down into basic shapes: circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles.

🎯 Your mission

Draw it slow. Then draw it again, faster.

⚡ The twist

No erasing. Mistakes become part of the drawing.

🏆 Try this week: Draw the same object three times this week — once a day, slower each time.

👨‍👩‍👧 At dinner: “Show me your sketch. What's the part you'd do differently next time?”
