Homeschooling in North Carolina

What North Carolina publishes

- Yes. Before you begin — the window runs 1 July to the end of April, to nc division of non-public education (dnpe). Include your details as chief administrator, your diploma documentation, and the school's name and address.

- Operate on a regular schedule for at least nine calendar months a year, excluding holidays and vacations.
- Testing or assessment
- Required. A nationally standardised achievement test each year covering English grammar, reading, spelling and mathematics. Results are kept for at least a year and shown to DNPE on request.
