What you need
- a shallow bowl of water
- a small mirror
- a sunny window or a torch
- white paper
Steps
- Lean the mirror in the water at an angle facing the light.
- Move the paper until the rainbow lands on it.
- Youngest names the colours in order; oldest explains why that order.
- Try to make the rainbow bigger, and work out what changed.
