Build it together: The pressure bottle
What you need
- a plastic bottle
- a nail or skewer
- water
- a sink or garden
Steps
- Make three holes up the side of the bottle, evenly spaced.
- Cover them, fill the bottle, then uncover all three at once.
- Watch which jet goes furthest. Predict first.
- Explain to the youngest why the bottom one wins.
