Body Beat Percussion (Part 3)

Learn about body beat percussion (part 3): recognize beat groupings in duple and triple meter

🎵 Stage Brief #75

Try conducting yourself in 4/4 time: down, left, right, up.

🎯 Your mission

Sing along — even if no one's listening.

⚡ The twist

Going up sounds happier. Going down sounds heavier. That's not magic — that's ears.

What you'll learn

Try conducting yourself in 4/4 time: down, left, right, up. Each motion lands on a beat. This is the basic four-pattern.
