Fire safety means being careful to prevent fires and knowing what to do if there is one. Always stay away from matches and candles, and never play with fire. If you see smoke or a fire, you should get low to the ground and escape outside quickly. For example, if your clothes catch on fire, you should stop, drop to the ground, and roll to put it out.
