The Kind Neighbor

Mrs. Bell is our neighbor. She lives next door. She is very kind. When Mom was sick in bed Mrs. Bell came over. She brought us a pot of soup. She brought crackers too. She read to us while Mom rested. She read two chapters of our favorite book. We said thank you. When Mom felt better we made a card. We drew flowers on it. We wrote thank you, Mrs. Bell. We gave her the card. She smiled and hugged us. We are lucky to have a kind neighbor.
