Supply and demand are like a dance between how much of something there is and how much people want it. When many people want a toy, like a popular robot, and there aren’t enough robots for everyone, the demand is high and the supply is low. This might make the price of the toy go up. But if there are lots of robots and not many people want them, the supply is high and demand is low, so the price might go down. Supply and demand help decide how much things cost!
