Centimeters are small units of measurement used to find out how long or wide something is. A centimeter is about the width of a large paperclip. To measure something in centimeters, you can use a ruler that has centimeter marks on it. For example, if you measure a pencil and it is 10 centimeters long, that means it is 10 little units long. Using centimeters helps us compare sizes easily!
