Plants grow by using sunlight, water, and soil. They take in sunlight through their leaves and use it to make food in a process called photosynthesis. Roots absorb water and nutrients from the soil, which helps the plant grow strong. For example, a sunflower starts as a tiny seed, but with the right sunlight and water, it can grow tall and beautiful!
