Reading Is an Adventure

Discover the many reasons reading can be fun.

Reading lets you go places without leaving your chair. In one book you might ride a dragon. In another you might learn how a rocket blasts off.

Books can make you laugh, help you learn about things you love, and introduce you to characters who feel like friends. Think about what you like. Do you love animals, trucks, jokes, or space? There are books about all of them.

When you read about something you care about, you want to keep turning the pages. That is when reading feels like fun, not work.
