A Little Reading Every Day

Build a habit of reading a little bit every day.

Reading a little every day helps you get better and makes reading part of your life. It does not have to be a long time. Even 15 minutes counts. You can pick a regular time, like after school or before bed, so you remember.

Some kids read a chapter at breakfast. Others read with a grown-up at night. Think of it like brushing your teeth: a small thing you do every day that adds up.

If you read for 15 minutes a day for a week, that is more than an hour and a half of reading!
