Primary Reading-for-Fun Review: My Reading Plan

Make a simple plan to find, enjoy, and share books.

Let's put it all together into a reading plan. First, think about what you love, like animals, jokes, or space. Second, go to the library with your card and ask the librarian for books on that topic.

Third, use the five-finger test to pick a few just-right books, plus an easy one for fun. Fourth, read a little every day in your cozy spot. Fifth, add each book to your reading list and tell a friend about your favorite.

For example, Zara's plan: dinosaurs, library on Saturday, read after dinner, share with her best friend.

• 1Start with what you love.
• 2Use the library and the five-finger test.
• 3Read daily, keep a list, and share favorites.
