The Ant and the Crumbs

An ant walked across the kitchen floor one morning. It was looking for food. It found a big crumb near the table. The crumb was too heavy for one ant. The ant tried and tried. It could not move the crumb alone. So the ant went back to its nest. It left a trail so the others could follow. Soon many ants came. They followed the trail to the crumb. Together they pushed and pulled. They carried the crumb away. They took it to their nest. Everyone would share the food. Working together helps. One ant could not do it. Many ants could. We can learn from the ants. When we work together we can do hard things.
