Point of view is the perspective from which a story is told. It helps readers understand who is speaking and how they feel. For example, if a story is told from the 'first person' point of view, the character might say, 'I felt happy when I saw my friend.' This shows us their personal feelings. If the story is told from 'third person,' it might say, 'She felt happy when she saw her friend,' which gives us a view of how another character feels.
