Financial literacy means understanding how money works, especially when it comes to saving. Saving money is putting aside some of your money instead of spending it all right away. For example, if you get $10 for your birthday, you might decide to save $4 for a new toy later instead of buying candy now. This way, you can buy something bigger and better in the future! When you save money, you can keep it in a piggy bank or even a bank account, where it can grow over time. The more you save, the more options you have later!
