Plant reproduction is how plants make new plants. There are two main ways plants can reproduce: sexually and asexually. In sexual reproduction, plants use flowers to produce seeds. For example, a bee might visit a flower to collect nectar and, in the process, help transfer pollen from one flower to another. This pollen helps create seeds that can grow into new plants. In asexual reproduction, a plant can grow new plants from its roots, stems, or leaves without seeds. An example of this is when a spider plant sends out little baby plants on long stems, which can grow into new spider plants when they touch the soil.
