An obtuse angle is an angle that measures more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees. This means that it is wider than a right angle, which is exactly 90 degrees. For example, if you have a pizza and you slice it into one big piece that takes up more than a quarter of the pizza, the angle at the tip of that piece is likely obtuse! You can find obtuse angles in many places, like the hands of a clock when they point to 10 and 2. Remember, when you see an angle that looks 'open' and larger than a right angle, you are looking at an obtuse angle.
