Multi-digit multiplication helps us find the product of two numbers that each have more than one digit. To multiply, you start by taking the number on the bottom and multiplying it by each digit of the top number, one at a time. For example, if we want to multiply 23 by 45, we first multiply 5 (the last digit of 45) by 23, which equals 115. Next, we multiply 4 (the next digit of 45) by 23, which equals 92, but we need to add a zero because it represents tens. Now we add 115 and 920 together to get 1,035. So, 23 times 45 equals 1,035!
