Editing skills help you make your writing better by finding and fixing mistakes. When you edit, you look for spelling errors, missing punctuation, and unclear sentences. For example, if you wrote, "The cat run fast," you would change it to, "The cat runs fast" to fix the verb. You can also check if your ideas flow well together. Reading your work out loud can help you hear mistakes that you might not see when reading silently. This way, your writing becomes clearer and more enjoyable for others to read.
