Renewable and nonrenewable resources are two types of energy sources. Renewable resources, like solar and wind power, can be replaced naturally and wonโ€™t run out. For example, solar panels collect sunlight and turn it into electricity, which we can use over and over again. On the other hand, nonrenewable resources, such as coal and oil, cannot be replaced once they are used up. These resources take millions of years to form, so when we run out, they are gone for good. Using renewable resources helps protect our planet and ensures we have energy for the future!
