Cultural diffusion is the process by which ideas, customs, and technologies spread from one culture to another. This can happen through trade, migration, or even social media. For example, when people from different countries share their food, music, or traditions, they are participating in cultural diffusion. A great example is how pizza, originally from Italy, has become popular all over the world. In the United States, pizza has been adapted to include unique toppings like pepperoni or even pineapple! This sharing and mixing of cultures help create new traditions and experiences. Cultural diffusion shows us how interconnected the world is, as people learn from one another and change over time.
