Weather is what we see outside day to day: rain, sun, wind, or snow. Climate is the usual weather in a place over many years. A place might have a hot, dry climate or a cold, snowy one. Climate affects what plants and animals can live there. Scientists study how climate is changing. We can help by using less energy and protecting forests.
