Read It Again, Sound Smoother

The first time you try a new rhyme, you might stop and think. The second time, it goes a bit better.

By the third time, it rolls out smoothly! Practice works like riding a scooter.

Try 'Five fat frogs on a fallen log' three times. Notice how it gets easier each time?

Saying things again is how good readers get smooth.

• 1Practice makes it smoother
• 2The first try can be bumpy
• 3Each try gets a little easier
