One Topic on Every Page

The topic is the subject a book talks about. In a good book, the topic stays the same from page to page.

Page one: 'Frogs start as eggs. ' Page two: 'Eggs hatch into tadpoles.

' Page three: 'Tadpoles grow legs and become frogs. ' Every page is about frogs growing up.

Pages are like beads on one string, and the string is the topic.

• 1The topic is the subject
• 2It stays the same page after page
• 3Pages connect like beads on a string
