Every Story Has a Beginning

Stories are like a walk: they start somewhere. The beginning is the very first part.

It often tells us who is in the story and where they are. Listen: 'One sunny morning, a little hen woke up in her barn.

' That is a beginning! We met the hen, and we know it is morning in a barn. Now we are ready to find out what happens.
