That Happened to Me Too!

Sometimes a story reminds us of our own life. That's called making a connection.

Listen: Ada was nervous on her first day at a new school. Has that happened to you?

Maybe you felt nervous somewhere new too! When we remember our own feelings, we understand how the character feels.

Tell your grown-up about a time you felt like a story character.
