Short I Says /i/

I is another vowel. It often makes the short sound /i/, as in igloo, itch, and inch.

It's a little sound, with your mouth just a bit open, like a small smile. Listen to the middle of pig: p-iii-g.

That's short i! Sit, pin, and fish all have /i/ in the middle. Scratch an itch every time you hear it.
