Being a Great Listener at Read-Aloud

When a grown-up reads aloud, you have an important job: listening! Sit so you can see the pictures.

Keep your hands in your lap and your eyes on the book. Turn on your listening ears.

If you want to say something, wait for a pause or raise your hand.

Great listeners hear every part of the story and help others hear it too.
