How a Story Ends

The end is the last part of a story. It tells us how everything turns out. Remember the hen?

At the end, she hears 'peep, peep! ' and finds her chick inside a flowerpot.

She gives it a big wing hug, and they go home. That is the end!

Endings often feel finished, like a door closing softly, and sometimes they are happy.
