What You'll Learn
The life cycle of a frog includes egg, tadpole, tadpole with legs, froglet, and adult frog. This process of metamorphosis takes several weeks to months depending on the species.

Safety First
- Wash your hands thoroughly afterwards and keep the material away from your face.
- Mop up spills straight away so nobody slips, and keep liquids away from sockets.
- Check glassware for chips before use and carry it with both hands.
Steps
Look at the vocabulary words and write a definition for each in your own words.
Build a model ecosystem in a jar using soil, small plants, and water. Seal it and observe how the water cycle works inside it for one week.
Compare the before and after states.
Write your conclusion: did the results match your hypothesis? What would you change next time?
