The Excretory System

Lab Brief #10

🎯 Your mission

Master the concept. Use it tomorrow.

⚡ The twist

What the body does in one minute is wilder than any cartoon.

What you'll learn

The excretory system removes waste products from the body. The kidneys filter blood to produce urine, the lungs remove carbon dioxide, and the skin releases some waste through sweat.

Key words

organ system
A group of organs that work together to do a job.
immune system
The body's defense team that fights off germs and sickness.
skeletal system
All the bones that support and protect your body.

Make a hypothesis first

Guess: how does the body solve this problem?

Say your guess out loud — then find out if you were right.
