Lab Brief #3

🎯 Your mission

Learn the rule. Then catch nature using it.

⚡ The twist

Nature loves to surprise the careful watcher.

What you'll learn

Leaves can be big or small, round or pointy. Go outside and find different leaves!

Key words

Before you start: write down what you think will happen, and why.

Say your guess out loud — then find out if you were right.

Say the vocabulary words out loud. Can you repeat them?

Step 2 of 4 · Do

Go outside and find a plant. Touch its leaves gently. Are they soft or rough?

Step 3 of 4 · Observe

Step 4 of 4 · Record

Point to the things you used in the activity.

Question 1 of 2

Are all leaves the same shape?

Question 2 of 2
